Celebrating with raiSE in their 10th Anniversary Celebrations!
The Singapore Centre for Social Enterprise (raiSE SG) 10th Anniversary Celebrations was nothing short of stunning.
Held in opulent surroundings at The Flower Field Hall, nestled in the heart of The Gardens By The Bay, was an event sure to live up to the hype of its grand celebrations.
And it did.
It felt like Wakanda with thousands of purple coloured themed lightbulbs in the ceiling.
A high profile event worthy to be graced by President Tharman Shanmugaratnam and Minister Masagos Zulkifli, the star studded event was attended by many social entrepreneurs and partners of whom were mostly already integrated within the raiSE ecosystem, decked to Thursday best, donned in both sharp suits and dainty dreses.
And me?
Just a humble baby within the ecosystem representing my company, abel Singapore who is a raiSE EnergiSE Grantee of 2025.
Met Erwin and Block71’s Yuen Ping at the Entrance!
Had a wonderful chat with Erwin on the progress for Abel Singapore.
Met the 2025 Hult Prize Winners Huh Dam (Adam) and Chong Ing Kai ! Finally got to congratulate them in person. Got to finally control a Stick’ Em Robot through Ing Kai’s smartphone! Honoured!
Met Myr and Jerrel, Jotham and Walter, new friends!
Jamie and Navas of raiSE were very kind to cater to shy me during the networking event outside the hallowed halls of FFH, had a good chat with them as well!
The Anniversary Celebrations were mostly about celebrating the outstanding achievements made by our stellar Singapore-based Social Enterprises through award giving ceremony! Fun fact: Currently, the collective revenue of Singapore SEs is valued at $230+ million.
To all Social Enterprises in Singapore, let’s be both the combination of Richard Bransons and Mother Theresas in Singapore!
Onwards and upwards in 2026!
